We so missed seeing you in February! We were super disappointed that the meeting was cancelled due to the weather, but the good news is that our February speaker has been rescheduled for our October meeting--YAY!

Luckily, the weather won't keep us away from WEO in March, because we've got a doubly delightful program for you! Here's what's happening:

    • TWO keynote speakers! Kelly Oriard and Callie Christensen, founders of Slumberkins, will share their secrets of engaging your market through social media. And we know how much you love social media.

    • Double spotlight on our own Carolee Dewars of Zia Advisory (www.ZiaAdvisory.com). Yep, that's right, Carolee has both spotlights and she's gonna wow us!

    • New double bonus prizes when you bring a guest! YES, PLEASE! We love it when WEO members bring guests, and this month, you're really gonna feel the love. Because every guest you bring will receive a charming gift, courtesy of sponsor Amy Loudenback of Visiting Angels. What makes it double? YOU get a gift, too!

Plus you'll also get to know our Centerpiece Sponsor Angie Sullivanof Precision Paving Plus (www.PrecisionPavingPlus.com).

There's a lot to love about WEO meetings, including connecting with other WEOs, philanthropy and visibility with our Pot O'Gold, and more!

Remember, we now meet at Warehouse 23 in lovely downtown Vancouver (so you'll be driving against traffic during rush hour) with lots of parking.

Hey, wouldn't you love to succeed in business?

Of course, we all would! And that's why we've invited Selena Maestas of the Love YOU More Project to speak at our February meeting.

Her talk focuses on one form of self-sabotage: Perfectionism. How is it holding us back, and how can we move forward? Put yourself first to deconstruct the negative elements of perfectionism and redirect it towards a path of increased performance without the panic.

Also on the agenda: WEO turns the spotlight on member Carolee Dewars (pictured at left).

As you may already know, Carolee is the founder and owner of Zia Advisory (www.ZiaAdvisory). She helps her clients understand their company’s financial health and guides them through critical decisions to improve net profit and create positive cash flow.

She'll explain exactly what that means and why it's important at her double spotlight at the meeting in February. That's right--a double spotlight!!

Plus you can look forward to connecting with other WEOs, enjoy a little philanthropy and visibility with our Pot O'Gold, and more!

We're at Warehouse 23 on the waterfront for the second time this month--and we'll be there thru June. Super convenient downtown location (so you'll be driving against traffic to get there) with lots of parking, so no long hikes in high heels after a long day at work.

There's a lot to love about this WEO meeting, so be sure you're registered, because you don't want to miss out this month!

Our annual holiday party is happening on December 13th (the second Wednesday)!

You and your guests will mix and mingle with other women entrepreneurs and executives, while enjoying the ever-popular gift exchange, karaoke contest, seasonal trivia games, raising money, and more.

Gift exchange rules: Bring one gift ($20 value) in a gift bag (no wrapping, please) to enjoy this very fun part of our holiday meeting. Each gift can be "stolen" twice, meaning it can pass to up to three people (the original recipient plus two "thieves") before it is considered owned. What to bring? This is not a "white elephant" or goofy gift exchange, so please bring a charming gift that you would love to receive.

Stocking Stuffer: This fun fund-raiser replaces the Pot O'Gold in December. Tickets are just $5 each, and at the end of the evening, the amount of cash stuffed in this stocking is split between WEO's philanthropy fund and one very lucky winning WEO!

Dress code: We're inspired by all the songstresses who sang "Santa Baby" including Eartha Kitt and Madonna, so let's dress accordingly. Some of us will be in sequins, some in red dresses, so wear what makes you feel fetchingly festive.

Location update: We're at the lovely Heathman Lodge for the last time this month. Please make a note in your calendar.

Power Up Your Personal Safety in October!

Hey, we have another fun and full meeting planned for you in October!

Our keynote speaker is Michele Maupin (pictured above), who will show us how to power up the three power tools for personal safety, which she says are awareness, assertiveness and preparation. Good to us to know, too!

Also on the agenda in October: You'll get to hear from spotlight speakers and the centerpiece sponsor. So far these fab promo opportunities are wide open, so it could be YOU in the spotlight! Reserve your space here: WEO October 2017 Meeting
